Welcome to A Soft Place to Land.

Hi, I’m Courtney.

For as long as I can remember, art has been a place where I could slow down, breathe, and feel at home. As a child, creating gave me a safe place to land, and over the years it became something I wanted to share with others.

Every card in this shop begins as an original hand-drawn illustration created by me. From the first sketch to the final printed card, each piece is made with the hope that it brings a little more kindness, comfort, and connection into the world.

A Soft Place to Land was created for the moments that matter most—the birthdays, encouragements, celebrations, losses, and everyday reminders that we are loved and not alone.

My hope is that when someone opens one of these cards, they feel seen, cared for, and reminded that even small acts of kindness can make a lasting difference.
